I have listened to this song over a thousand times since I first heard it last Sunday. Immediately after hearing it, I downloaded it and listened to it till I tucked myself into bed, and when I woke up the next day, and the day after, and the day after that till today; it has been the same story. 

I love the range of keys in this song. I love the way both artists played with them such that you can savour the intensity and ravel at the moment and even get lost in very beautiful thoughts. 

I also love the lyrics; nothing dirty or messy; and definitely not an excuse to sell porn which is fast becoming the order of the day. I love the mischief in the lyrics and how they paint a picture of ‘teenage’ love or perhaps a ‘love’ filled with innocence and the purity thereof. 

You see, I have not only listened to this song, I have also downloaded the lyrics so I can sing along to it. Simi’s part of the song kinda sounds like my person. A touch of ‘mischief’ that occasionally needs ‘saving’ ;-), and to imagine someone ‘getting better in Kung fu’ so that if I ever need saving he’ll be running to me, just thrills me absolutely. 

Imagine the love of the best lover of all. The touch of the one who knows you inside out, who has taken time to understand you – good, bad and hideous; and accepts the totality of who you are. That one person who spares no expense for you; who is willing to flatten mountains for you and cause volcanic eruptions just for you! That one who went and goes beyond mere words to action and manifestation; giving the best of himself just to have you, just to touch your heart and reach your soul; just to forge an endearing and enduring relationship with you – not for a few convenient moments but for all time! Yeah, to this one, I will be running to, to your arms, to your love, to savour the sweet sweet taste of your touch and everything else words fail to describe.

I pray everyone experiences love – so pure and true. I pray everyone’s love develops to the pure and truest form. Above all, I pray we all get to fall in love with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit because their love lays the best foundations on which others can be built. A taste of their love sets a standard, for how you should be loved and deserve to be loved; their rhythm sets the tone for the true symphonies of love and their persons and personalities define and redefine what love truly is. Not the twisted thing the world has made it but the real deal, set in place since the beginning of time.
